I'm a Dutch photographer living in vibrant Amsterdam where I get inspired by the many different and unique people I meet while roaming the canals.
Getting to know each other is also an important part of capturing your unique love story. That's why I always suggest an in-person meeting before your wedding day. Meeting face-to-face allows us to get acquainted and share creative ideas. It's an opportunity for me to understand your vision and the moments that matter most to you.
My style blends documentary storytelling with artistic flair, capturing genuine emotions and beautiful in-between moments that transport you back to the magic of your wedding day.

How I will capture and document your love story
Covering the day
I like to capture the in-between moments as much as the planed moments of a wedding day. Together these pictures will tell an even better tale. This is why I want to be there to cover the complete story. From getting ready until half way through the party. Often the little unforeseen intimate moments make the best pictures. I'll be there to cover it without you even realising.
Your photos
The day after your wedding I will do my best to select and edit a preview of around 25 highlights for you to enjoy. After this you will receive all your photos fully edited in my style and in high-resolution between 4 to 6 weeks.
Your photos are delivered in a beautiful online gallery in which you can browse through your photos, download them, order prints and select your favourites.
No worries
Be yourself and don't mind me. I will totally blend in with the guests. Although every wedding is unique I have done this many times before. Let me guide you where needed. No fake and uncomfortable posing. I like to capture the real energy and emotions at a wedding. I will flow through your friends and family, anticipating al the beautiful moments. You just enjoy.

Can I extend the session on the day of?
I don't want you to stress about if we have enough time for the photography. That's why I stay either half a day or the whole day or weekend. Of course we can discuss your unique situation.
For me, the biggest amount of work starts after your wedding day, when I start editing your images. This is why my pricing isn't based on the amount of hours I shoot.
Do you shoot destination weddings?
Yes, put me on a plane or a train and I'll follow you to every corner of the planet to make your dream wedding come true. I've captured weddings in France and South East Asia. I love to travel. I will make sure to arrive two nights before the wedding to avoid being late by unforeseen delays and I'm well rested and ready to scout the location.
Will there be a second shooter?
For very large weddings you might consider hiring a second shooter. I'm very lucky to have talented photographers who I work with when we need to team up.
Do I have to order prints through you?
If you are interested in ordering prints, wall art or a photo album I'd love to arrange those for you too, so I can guarantee the best printing quality. I could tell you more about the options at our pre-wedding appointment.
